We receive many requests to make signs using fluorescent ink. True fluorescent inks should only be used on signs that are going to be out temporarily. For example a police department that is putting out No Parking signs for the 4th of July parade but then is going to take them down when the parade is over.
The reason for this is that fluorescent inks fade very rapidly and within a month they will fade to more of a pastel orange rather than a fluorescent orange. In extreme cases the fluorescent may start to appear white again.
We can certainly use bright colors but we suggest not using fluorescents unless your signs are only going to be used for short intervals on a temporary basis.
